A Day Full Of Fun For Just $50
There is so much to do in our community both indoors and outdoors, but so many people hesitate having a day full of fun because they think it can be too costly. Well, do we have the perfect news for you! Here is the all you need to know in order to have a day full of fun for just $50.
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Wakey, wakey! Time to get up and make that morning cup of coffee (or tea) and get ready for a fun summer day in Rochester, NY!
10:30 AM – 1:00 PM: After you’ve got yourself ready to go, head on down to Seneca Park Zoo; it’s time to have some fun with animals. For only $21, spend the next few hours exploring all the zoo has to offer with you and one of the kiddos. From playful monkeys, lazy lions, and peaceful elephants, there is so much to see!
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: After some time in the sun, a nice scoop of ice cream should be all it takes to get you cooled off and ready for more. From Seneca Park Zoo, head down the street to I-Square in Irondequoit on Titus Avenue for a delicious ice cream cone for $7. Who knows, if you’re lucky you might catch one of their live concerts.
3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Now that you’re full and refreshed from ice cream, it’s time to walk it off. From I-Square on Titus, zip on down St. Paul to Durand Eastman Beach for a nice afternoon walk along the water (or a nap on the beach, whatever works for you!).
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: What a fun filled day so far! The best way to top off a perfect day is with a delicious dinner (am I right?). Drive across the river to the Pelicans Nest for an appetizer or two. Take your pick between wings $13, quesadillas $12, or even some festive crab cakes $12.
7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: There are many ways to end the perfect day. Once you venture back home, maybe a nice movie night, or maybe even a family game night. Take your pick!
