A program of the New York State Dispute Resolution Association (NYSDRA), in partnership with Community Dispute Resolution Centers (CDRCs) to cultivate the next generation of community-based dispute resolution practitioners through extensive training, mentoring, and direct service opportunities.

WHAT DO CMSC MEMBERS DO?

CMSC members support youth and their communities by strengthening local partnerships between schools and Community Dispute Resolution Centers (CDRCs) to support the social and emotional well-being of youth.

They provide a variety of conflict management services to students and staff in schools including restorative circles, conflict coaching, and mediation. With the support of CDRC’s members support youth and families as they navigate conflict and learn valuable social-emotional skills.

MEMBER BENEFITS INCLUDE:

$18,000 living allowance for full time service (for a 50 week service term)
